| Yoga Flow: A class where poses flow fom one to the other in conjuntion with the breath. class sequence is interspersed with static postures to address strength and balance. a great adjunct for those involved in other sports or fitness training. This is a multi-level class. Beginners are welcome
Relaxing Restorative Yoga:This calming class starts with gentle stretching and then, using blocks, blankets and/or straps, the head, limbs and body are supported in relaxing poses cultivating gentle range of motionand passive stretching. in restorative poses, mind and body are able to relaxand find balance. This class i sperfect for new students or those with low back issues, fibromyalgia, and anyone who wants a gentle relaxing practice.
Vinyasa Flow: A more challenging version of the Yoga Flow class. The word “Vinyasa” means breath synchronized movement. In this class we flow from asana to asana with the rhythm of the breath. Heat is created and the body begins to open and muscles lengthen. Great for building endurance and strength. A great adjunct for those involved in sports or athletic training. A yoga practice of at least 6 months or consent of the instructor is recommended for those attending this class.
Zumba: Easy to follow steps, spicy music, fat melting cardio workout-that's Zumba! Connect with your inner dancer! Learn rhythms of Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, calypso, and more! Routines incorporate interval training, and easy to follow dance move that utilize fast and slow movements to create a fitness program that burns fat while toning and sculpting the body. No dance experience necessary, and Zumba is suitable for all fitness levels.
NEW Women's Meditative Yoga:A class where women of all ages come together so that we can celebrate and support each other and nurture ourselves thru stillness, reflection and the practice of gentle yoga. The class is dedicated to a slow yoga practice to open the body, stretch and strengthen the muscles and find that inner place of peace. The last 15 minutes of class can be spent in savasana or meditation and journaling. Tea will be provided.
