Yoga/Zumba/Meditation Classes

Beginner Yoga

The perfect place to start if you are new to yoga or want a slower paced practice. This class focuses on the fundamentals of yoga; the importance of breathing, basic yoga postures, relaxation methods and stretches to enhance everyday living.

Core Fusion:

This class has had many names over the past seven years; Yogalates, Body Sculpt, and Yoga Fusion. But despite the change in name, the incredible format has remained the same. Core Fusion is a dynamic blend of yoga, dance, core work, and body toning exercises using light hand weights, exercise bands and other fun props. You will leave feeling taller, leaner, more flexible and totally invigorated. Totally kicks abs!

Yoga Flow:
A class where poses flow from one to the other in conjunction with the breath. class sequence is interspersed with static postures to address strength and balance. a great adjunct for those involved in other sports or fitness training. This is a multi-level class. Beginners are welcome!

 

Slow Flow:

A slower paced class that spends more time in each posture looking at the alignment that is best for your body. Gently stretches and Strengthens while finding inner balance and peace one breath at a time. Perfect for beginners.

ZUMBA!

Easy to follow steps... spicy music... fat melting cardio workout-that's ZUMBA! Connect with your inner dancer! Learn the rhythms of Salsa, Merengue, Cumbia, Calypso just to name a few. Routines incorporate interval training and easy to follow dance moves that utilize fast and slow rhythms to create a fitness program that tones and sculpts the body. Zumba will make you want to "ditch the workout and join the party"! You don't need dance experience to have fun with Zumba. If you can walk and breathe, you can do Zumba!! This class is suitable for all fitness levels.

Women's Restorative Yoga: A class where women of all ages come together so that we can celebrate and support each other and nurture ourselves thru stillness, reflection and the practice of gentle, restorative yoga. The class is dedicated to a slow, supported yoga practice to open the body and find that inner place of peace. The last 10 minutes of class can be spent in savasana or meditation and journaling. Tea will be provided.

Body Sculpt: This class will be a fusion of yoga, Pilates based mat work, and body toning exercises using light hand weights, and exercise bands.

 

Vinyasa Flow: A more challenging version of the Yoga Flow class. The word “Vinyasa” means breath synchronized movement. In this class we flow from asana to asana with the rhythm of the breath. Heat is created and the body begins to open and muscles lengthen. Great for building endurance and strength. A great adjunct for those involved in sports or athletic training. A yoga practice of at least 6 months or consent of the instructor is recommended for those attending this class.

Fluid Power:  If you like p90x yoga you will love the challenge of this dynamic yoga class. Guaranteed to stretch, strengthen and create more flexibility in body and mind. Not recommended for beginners.
